Um yeah....what ranger said, dont worry bout the stompin they no ure comin ;D. same as the bream u can tippy toe and ule still see them swim away from the shallows(vibrations). Respect the snakes and they will return it . there more scared of u than u are of them.Just keep still when ya see em and wait till they move on 8)...easy

Glad to answer tony....I dont remember bumping into anyone at this particular spot. never been a member but ive been meaning to join for a number of years ;Dhavnt had chance to add cod on my list of captures. its on my to do list ;DAll fish were taken home dead ;Dall fish captured on squidgy fish gary glitter color size #3 from memory on fairly heavy jig. this was the only color that worked on the day ???. wouldnt touch anything else. Havent done any fresh water work for a while, ile have to venture up the onk for a sesh soon 8)Ile send pm of where fish were caughtcheers

U are right about the persistance tony thats foreshore. might go and check out an old swimming hole up the onk that i use to go swimming in years ago, its a good hours walk from any roads let me kno if ya keen mate ;D

@coonta,A mate and i caught two of those 7 gills couple weeks back a couple k's out from stanvac. the fillets from them are in me freezer waitin to be consumed i hear there not bad eating ;D. hooked one that felt like it was of considerable size but busted me off before we could see it (anyone kno how big these grow)

looks like a winner cal, be interesting to see how ya go ;D
