  1. Im very interested in the Penn Sargus rang of reels at the moment but im having a problem with stores around my area not stocking them so Ive being doing some Googling trying to find a supplier other than Gaygay (Ebay) and have came up with "Anglers Warehouse" being the best priced so far. Does anyone know any other online stores that sell really cheap/bargain tackle? Cheers all

  2. Went out this morning to try and find some nice YFW at Thompsons Beach with no luck, high tide was at 7 and I arrived at 530 hoping to see a few on the incomming tide. Fished around the mangroves at the start and had the occasional nipple but no hook up. At high tide decided to try along the waters edge and mannaged to catch a never ending supply of smaller YFW all around the 18cm mark. Ive heard the huge potential bout this place but never really found it. I was using a 7ft soft plastic rod, 6lb braid, 6lb leader, size 6 long shank hook with a 5g running sinker, cockall and beach worms as bait. Has anyone had any experience at Thompsons with success and would like to send me in the right directions for some bigger ones???? It was my first and it being close to home wont be my last. Im thinking on heading out again tomorrew morn, sunday, if any one cares to join. Cheers

  3. Abu Garcia fishing rod range in Big W's are best value for money so farr that i have found. I wrote a little story if u want to look into this a bit more :cheer: My work mates been going on about these Muscle Tip fishing rods he's been seeing in Big W on how good they are for the price. Thought Ide sneek off for a look on my travels to Woolis and noticed that they had a huge range of Abu Garcia Muscle tip rods. Lend up buying two 5.6 foot Bait Casters for $30 each, Best buy ever, and an Over head for $40. For the quality of these rods and Im already a huge Abu fan, best buy ever!!!Been using one of the Bait Caster with an Egg Beater reel on it and no complaints. Ive been looking for ages on a rod that is under 6 foot, one piece, lots of eyelets, shorter butt and cheap. If ur like me these are the rods for you.

  4.
