hey guys. was just wondering if wind on leaders are any good? and what sort of knot is best for them? i'm heading up to the NT soon for a coupla weeks and i'm gunna be using some kick ass lures (cheers fred) and i dont wanna lose them. or would it be better to just make my own leaders up with jinkai?cheers shane
tuna logs work well. but normally we'll just cut up the pillies and feed bits out every coupla minutes. that normally works ok. just make sure you use some sort of berley. shane
good job rossco. you've got some patience. i'd get the shits on and it'd probably take me months to do something like that. once again, well done.shane
i use a 6"6' silstar crystal power tip with a shimano baitrunner 6500. with 20lb super braid. its a big reel, but it cranks em in if you have a shitty on. No problem...cheersshane
i usually clean them after every second trip. i know i should do it evry time but sometimes i get home at midnight and i'm starting work at seven. i should just take the time to do it.when i clean them though' i just tighten the drag and hose them off. efterwards i dry them with a cloth and back off the drags.shaneo
Yes your right, it is in the skill. I am just trying to find an excuse as my wife (Stace) always outfishes me on the rare occasion we get to go together LOL. How did you two go out in the boat yesterday?
i'm pretty sure if you dump scraps over, it would bring the fish around. where there's little ones there's big ones. the little ones are just a little bit quicker.
hey guys. loved the mag but the only thing i missed was that there was no news on the fleurieu. whats the deal guys? you's have almost covered everywhere else but not here. just curious i suppose. there is plenty to write about down here. if i could write i'd offer my services but i'm useless.cheers shane
