With the warmer weather approaching, we're all going to have to deal with the most significant nuisance of fishing, sea lice. Sea lice have the tendency of entering sea creatures through the rectum, mouth, gills or any hole present; subsequently eating away at the flesh like maggots. A method I use to counteract this is wrapping your bait in 'bait mate' (see photo).
