Ahoy hoy. As the title suggests Im a beginner at fishing. Grew up on the land and although I did go fishing once or twice when I was little I never really learnt properly.Long story short I'd like to learn so I've been doing a fair bit of reading looking up info talking to some people lately. With that I've got a question..Whats a good rod to get? Im looking at starting pretty basic heading to the jetty to catch squid and maybe head down to the river (Dont live to far from there).Should I buy a basic rod somewhere at a camping/fishing store or head down to a tackle and bait shop and get profes
