Thanks Wadey,very much apreciated. when I return i will fill you in on how I went and if I land on some good spots I will post them on here as I know how difficult it is to get any information about where to fish in Venus Bay.

From what I have read about the place the jetty can provide you with a range of fish, trevally being one of the more preverlant species.

I will be going over on the 18th Feb for ten days any help would be greatly appreciated Wadey.

Thanks Archerfish, I think it's best if I stick to fishing the bay. Might have to pester some of the locals for information. I will post some GPS marks if I find some good spots.

5.25m with a 75hp, I hear it's not a good idea to venture out side the heads. Any tips would be grateful as I'd like to have a safe fishing holiday.

I am going to Venus Bay on Eyre peninsular in 4 weeks, does anybody have any GPS marks or general information about where to fish in the bay.
