the 80pd braid is 4 pegging out lures, i just ask the bloke on his apinion and thort id give it a go. I was going to go with the 50 but thort id give this a go ive got a penn slammer with 50 so im just compairing at this stage and im hoping to do some balloning off the rocks when i head to K.I this weekend. ill let u know the break strain of the rod when i check it out, cant remember now.

hey all, got a 12ft tiralejo overhead orded comes in its own travle bag and set of weights bout to come in next week i hope. planning to take it away with me when i go to K.I this coming thursday till the following tuesday. putting an abu 9000i big game reelloaded with 80pound braid hoping it will work well. has anyone had any expereince or own this type of rod?

i cant see y not, just depends if they will go the distance. id say its worth a go depending on how much u pay 4 them. this way u could compare see if they r any diffrent

i got a 6'7 6-8kg spin, got a pen slammer 560 live liner on it. what's the best kind of reel to fit onto the tex's? i still havent had a chance to properly test out my rod n ive had it 4 a few months now.

trying to save money on my fishing, and tips on making my own lures ect? also looking at making my own samson jigs coz im thinking about going out on a charter next month but i need my own tackle. good or bad idea?

cheers brenton, ive been out with a m8 who caught a 50cm gar, i thort it was a snook! i only eva go out that way during summer myself. and ive seen some big yellow fin whighting out there too, i mainly spearfish out there (not in the protected area) and in about a foot of water ive got spaered 47cm yellow fin and got a few too, they love the warm water. i havent seen any snapper out there and havent heard about any being caught lately. thankx man
