  1. It was quiet until about 4:30 then all fun from then. Yep halcos are one of my favs, cheers
  2. Went for a Flick at waitpinga yesterday, plenty of salmon around, some big ones amongst the 4000 small ones. Any way managed to lose 4 lures, time to get some more. Just wondering what your favorite lure/plastic and size for salmon. Cheers
  3. A teaser with a Tommie always works a treat, they were also smashing big pilchards and mullet on a teaser a few weeks ago. Ull get them in the day providing the waters reasonably clear, and I found them to be only about. 20-30 meters from the rocks. Good luck, see ya out there
  4. G'day guys, I've heard on the grapevine that there's a place called "armchair" rock near stansbury I think. Apparently it holds mulloway and snapper? Can any body tell me if this is true, if its kayak accessible, and any techniques?Alternatively, does any body want to give me somewhere with in an hourish from Moonta/pt Hugh's that is kayak accessible and might hold something big like mullys, snapper, rays or smaller sharks. Very keen for some extreme kayak fishing :DCheers guys
  5. Awesome. Hopefully I can get out there this weekend. Thanks mate.
  6. Thanks guys. Most of these places are a bit of a journey but I get the idea, I'll try some local places. Cheers
  7. Grego, sorry I meant west lakes. I went down to have a try for bream a few weeks ago but no luck. I's it worth trying for flatties? If so, where abouts. Cheers
  8. G'day, does any one know where to find a heshin sack? Beats carrying a bucket up and down the beach when flicking lures. Thanks
  9. Hi all. Pretty keen to get the rods out this weekend, just need to know where the best place I's to go from the shore. Love chasing salmon and bigger fish but will try for what ever I can get. Judging on the weather this weekend, what would be my best bet? Waits for salmon or something like Mawson lakes for bream/flathead. If any one has any spots/tips/times, they would be appreciated. Cheers.
  10. Waitpinga beach. About 10 mins on from victor. Good for salmon, salmon trout, mullet, might find a shark. Camp site I's about 500m back from the carpark on the road as you come in. Phone range Is slim to none though.
