Thanks people. I will learn to fly eventually. I had a look at the bubble float and fly idea. Looks like a plan for now. Might have to try that out. I'm always open to new ways of fishing.

Hiya everyone. I was just wondering if anyone knows if I can use a fly as bait with a standard rod. Not a fly rod. I have been given a box of flys and also started making my own. If u can fly with a standard rod and reel what kind of setup should I use? I would like to be flying for trout and redfin if it can be done. Thanks in advance for your time.
