  1. Thanks for all the info. Only managed to fish for two days when over there as the trip was cut short coz my dad is old man is quite sick with brain cancer. Had to drive him to Ceduna hospital to be flown to Adelaide for check ups. Managed to take him out for a couple days before driving the boat back. One of the day we almost bagged out in 2 hours on whitting only 200m from the jetty. Next day the whitting seamed to be out further but he wasn't to keen, so managed to pick up half a doz squid, garfish and a million tommies. Didn't end up keeping any of the tommies as they where all pretty small
  2. Heading over to smoky bay next week for a bit of a holiday. The old man is bringing his 4.9m quinie over so we hope to do a bit of fishing in the bay if the weather is ok. Just wondering if anyone has any pointers on the area they would like to share. We are both fairly new to fishing out to sea (in a boat). Any tips would be appreciated.
  3. Sorry the one i meant was TCurve T Series - Spin 701 Snapper 5-8kg. Not the 6-8kg.
  4. If you want to spend a little more the TCurve Revolution Inshore - Snapper 6-8kg is very nice rod.
