  • Squid are coming from the town jetty in good numbers, along with the odd King George whiting whilst the tide was increasing. Also seen cruising around the jetty and foreshore has been some decent size kingies. Snook can still be caught around the town, more so towards the evening. Yellowfin whiting catches for the foreshore area are considered reasonable with good fish being landed, however many undersize King George whiting are being caught in the same areas. South coast anglers are reporting schools of salmon around the 3kg mark taking lures, after using burley to attract the school within casting distance.
