Elliston / Sheringa
The jetty is still producing tommies, garfish and some King George Whiting. Locks Well has some Salmon around 3kilo’s weather permitting. Down the coast a bit at Sheringa there are Salmon, Tommies, Mullet and King George Whiting. Talia Beach had salmon with the odd fish over 4kg.
Almonta / Gunyah Beach
A few anglers have braved the weather and swells to get a few nice Salmon this week along the beaches.
Farm Beach
When weather conditions allowed whiting were about in good size and numbers.
Coffin Bay
There have been a few reports of Whiting and Squid from local Jetties and beaches.
Port Lincoln
Squid and Garfish were caught throughout the bays and off the jetties. Whiting are being caught from Carcass Rock, and Louth Bay in deeper ‘winter bottom’ grounds. Salmon schools along the Sleaford to Wanna coast were mostly out of casting range. Thistle Island has seen a few anglers achieve good bags of Whiting. Large Yellowfin Whiting have been caught from local beaches when the tide has some movement. The occasional salmon is being caught within the marina and wharf areas.
Tumby Bay
A few squid, King George Whiting, Rugger Snapper and Sweep have been reported around the Tumby area and out at the Group.
Port Neill
Good catches of Whiting for the boaties between weather changes, also some Rugger Snapper and large Squid. Try the jetty for Tommies, Garfish and some nice Squid.
Arno Bay
The boaties have been bagging out on King George Whiting with a few Snook tossed in for good measure. Try the jetty for Squid and Tommies.
Port Lincoln Anglers Club
Next outing will be to Wisemans Beach. Heaviest bag competition / Pat Prow Memorial.
