The jetty still has tommies and garfish try the local beaches for mullet & whiting, Walkers rocks and Locks Well for salmon most around the 2kilo mark with the odd bigger one. Sheringa has tommies, whiting & mullet and a few salmon but you will have to work the beaches.

Almonta / Gunyah Beach

Anglers tried numerous gutters over the long weekend for little result. The odd school was seen around Almonta / Golden Island end.

Farm Beach

Whiting were going strong before the dodge tides but still some reasonable size fish were caught over the weekend.

Coffin Bay

The jetty had heaps of salmon trout, mullet and the odd whiting. The rock ledges had salmon trout, big tommies, gar and occasional whiting.

Squid are still keeping anglers entertained on local jetties even hitting surface lures intended for other species.

Tumby Bay

A few squid came from the jetty and the Group has improved for whiting.

Port Neill

Tommies, garfish, big squid and a few snook are being caught off the jetty; the beaches have small, medium and large salmon. The boaties have been catching whiting if you move around a bit.
