  • Light to moderate winds this weekend, good tides and nice weather (Not too hot) should make it a good fishing weekend.

Signs of crabs improving with better catches coming in. Some areas like Semaphore are still working hard to get a feed of legal ones. Deeper water around the 7-8 metre mark are producing better size. North of the black pole are doing better but again out in deeper water. The northern beaches are fairing the best with good size crabs and even a few for the rakers. Garfish are steadily getting better along with some nice tommies. Try Brighton, Grange, Semaphore, Silt grounds, Black pole and Port Gawler. Some ruggers are starting to filter in around Brighton and this weekends tides should improve the catches. Whiting are still being caught at Brighton, the Bag ground and some good catches are coming from the Black Pole. Snook have been doing well with some nice catches coming from the jetties late and early in the day. Squid catches continue to be strong especially around the West beach area and Glenelg.
