mrballs 12
Ive had the 2500 for about 5 years now, fantastic piece of equipment. The 2500 is super light at 200g and a little more versatile than the others if in future you decide to fish a little bit heavier for the natives etc.Mine is used primarily for bream but its comfortably caught schoolies to a metre. breambo25 1
Going by this website I would certainly go for the 2500. It's 10g heavier but is able to hold a lot more line than the 2508.http://www.daiwa.com/reel/detail.aspx?id=195 Piranha
