Big Ian 0
I found this lure down at Anglers Choice this week, and brought it along with one or two twenty other things as normal, : to help feed my fishing tackle addiction.Price range $ 12-$15 eachThe first thing I noticed when I saw them was the striking colours with the holographic affect. When I picked one up the next thing I noticed was the weight, now this was because I didn’t read the packet where it clearly states that these ones are 80g lures. I think this may have been due to the "look shiny stuff affect that some tackle has on me"And the third thing I noticed was that I need to learn how to read Japanese, but you have probably noticed the large amount of tackle on the market that is in Japanese without an English translation.Taking one out of the packet at home I looked closely at the fittings and hooks ect, I liked what I saw, the hooks are very sharp with both being a different size. I only managed to hook myself about four times so the hooks work well : The anchor points look the business and didn’t move when I tried to pull them as hard as I could. The rubber frill has some small glitter in it to help add as an attractant. The body of this lure is shaped like the hull of a boat so should move nicely thru the water. I’m thinking flathead with these lures but I also think snapper will smash them as well, they look a bit like the octopus lures on the market as far as the frill goes, but of course without the octopus shaped body. I do intend to do a review on these octopus lures next as I have quite a few of them. Now having done a bit of further research here http://damiki-japan.com/src/m_lin002.htm I see that they are also available in other sizes, but when i picked mine up they only had the 80g size. So until I get the chance to get it wet, there isn’t much more to add.Pic 1 In the boxPic 2 Out the boxPic 3 Close up and size comparison Pic 4 The hull shaped lure bodyTo be continued http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/uVoa7sB9__DSC_1787_800x600.JPG[/img] http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/JdrV4XzV__DSC_1792_800x600.JPG[/img] http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/UImXmsnw__DSC_1790_800x600.JPG[/img] http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/52U4WXDR__DSC_1794_800x600.JPG[/img]
Leethal 1
Supposedly these are good on the snapper, so if you get a chance use them!
