Bass13 10 Posted September 17, 2012 Report Share Posted September 17, 2012 Hey everyone I've just brought my fist fly rod and reel and was heading over to Vic to test it out on some trout. I've had little experience with fly gear and was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. I'm heading to Toolondo, I was there last week and the trout where going off around 5.30pm, they where smashing insects on the surface, around where there was a small deep ledge. What type of fly would be good for this? What would be some basic Fly pointer's to help a beginner out.Cheers Quote Link to post Share on other sites
