mosler 0
Anyone owned a Nexave 902 Shorespin? What did you think of it? Would you recommend it?
Fishunter86 3
Exactly the same as a Catana. I have the Catana, love it

Fishunter86 3
I've got a 4000 baitrunner on it. Chucking lures for salmon, livies for mullies, lb snapper etc, good all rounder. Also handy for catching bait off the beaches
mosler 0
So it can handle mullies? And with the 4000 size reel?
Cal 480
Is it the same or similar as the Steve Starling shorespin 9 footers?I heard that the original grey ones were a better rod than the next model which were blue in colour. The latest catana ones sound pretty good going from what you lads are saying, if its anything like the original which i have, great rod for luring mullies with big hardbodies in the Port and the like, seems too stiff holding it but chuck an 11cm minnow style lure on it and surprising how well it casts and fishes. Are the new rods a bit rubbish or are they still good quality, just not quiet as good as the older model
Fishunter86 3
I've got a starlo 11' shorespin and a lucsnus jig, haven't had issues with either. Boyo can vouch for the 11 footer. The mullies encountered in the port and westies aren't that big, a 4000 is plenty unless you get a big girl
