southern rookie 0
I fish only occasionally, but I have no experience fishing Adelaide's southern suburn coastline. I plan to go fishing one morning next week, and after some research, Marino rocks or Noarlunga jetty are two options. Does anyone have any suggestions - location, target fish, bait/rigs? bent87 0
It could be a good start to hit the jetty, it's a bit easier rock fishing to begin with. Low light (dawn and dusk) times are best, and an hour either side is much more productive on most jetties than the middle of the day. (generally speaking). There are some great salmon runs at pt norlunga but these occur mostly during rough winter weather. Take a couple squid jags, some gents and pellet burley- a burley float leading about a metre and a half to a size 12 hook will put you in the running for tommies and gar. Good luck Kayak Noob
rotare 491
For a moment I thought I could provide you with some answers to your questions when I read the thread title.... then I realised you wrote "Southern Beaches", not "Southern Bitches" ..
southern rookie 0
good one, rotare! And thanks for the advice bent87. I think I am still keen to give the Marino rocks a try, then maybe move north to the beach at Seacliff. Any other tips for this area?
