jackblack86 5
Hi all,Entering the shitbox rally next year as a support crew (shitboxrally.com.au). The journey goes from perth to darwin via the kimberlies happening in may 2014. As im going as a support crew im taking my 4wd and will be driving from here to perth to start off with. We plan it to a massive fishing trip so heres what im after:SA - Obviously the far west coast is some of the best fishing in the state. Really were after big mullies, kingfish etc. What to expect in may? As I don't know that part of the state, where to go?WA - probably only going to get a chance ti fish in perth. Was thinking on doing a charter to jig for sampsons. Are there any good fishing spots on the way to perth in south eastern WA?NT- 1. Barra fishing!Would also love to go for some queenies, gts, spanish mackrel if possible. Anyone know good charter operators in darwin that would cater for us. Also as I'll have a vehicle and fishing gear any land based spots that would be worth a crack? Cheers in advance!

Kuerschie 2,309
From Perth, I would suggest looking at Rottnest Island as the samsons over there are pretty large. jackblack86
ShoreJigger 171
Any safe ledge at the top of the Bight, that drops into deeper water would be worth a fish.Could catch anything. Just make sure you watch swell for a good 20-30 minutes before you venture to your spot. jackblack86
Jabberjaw 0
Hi Jack Black. Im new to the forum. Sounds like you got an exciting trip there man!If I were you.. I'd check out Exmouth. Maybe start by getting in touch with the Exmouth Game Fishing Club; http://www.egfc.com.au/They should be able to guide you on charters etc.I haven't been there but, from the looks of the photos and articles, definitely on my list. jackblack86
