Guest xtrafishyfish
I could be wrong but I think you can dive from the shore at second valley and get crays on the inshore reef.If you set pots always drop them in the lee of a reef as the crays will always sit behind the structure out of the main tidal current when the tide is running {SMILIES_PATH}/cheesy.gif
David Ciaravolo 34
Hi there,You can dive (free or Scuba) for Crays in SA and use a Snare. If you want to use a pot you must ensure it meets the regs and register the Pot with PIRSA before use. Each individual can register up to 2 pots.Remember that you must clip the middle fan of their tails as they a brought ashore (to distinguish them from commercially caught ones). The best places for diving are BeachPort, Marion Bay and Surrounds. Second Valley holds lobsters but they are usually borderline size. Port Elliot is the same. For droping pots try Beachport, Robe, Horeshoe Bay, Marion and Pondalowie Bays.Good Luck. ospray 1
For Crays' another good place is Corny Point, if you have a pot and license.[/color:305g5e8r]
David Ciaravolo 34
Outer drop of Port Noarlunga reef, North of the opening in the past has had crays, unsure of the legalities now it is a sanctuary. Finatic

srick 0
im pretty sure gleesons is a sanctuary for crays in most spots there. as i know old pro cray blokes from there. so i wouldnt risk putting pots there if you dont know the borders. thoes crays can get you big fines.
