AHHHHH the ol' ledge hey!nice spot to fish! was there a couple of weekends ago. fished from mid arvo til late.WEAR SOME BOOTS as the rocks are a bit sharp. We only caught whiting there and a few tommies but those tommies were sent flying back out as live bait.had one run that lasted for about 10secs so got me excited to go back.ledge would be maybe couple meters high but not too sure how deeplines tight!

Hi mate I've found the key time to snapper fish in the coffins channel is the hour period of slack water between tide changes.I don't think I've ever caught a snapper there when the current is running hard. If a tide change coincides with early morning or late evening then that's even better.

Hey mate yeah I did catch a few a couple weeks back at the neptunes whilst out tuna fishing. First time I've tried for nannygai in a couple months as this time of year it's generally all about pelagics.Pelagics don't taste as nice as nannygai though :cheer: 20140201_185103.jpg20140201_121313.jpgOn another note I reckon the yellowfin whiting won't be far away as I saw a couple of those yellowfin blokes down the jetty last week having a good look around in the shallows for signs.
