Caught both salmon and snook off the stones at Outer Harbour.

You don't have to walk out far, just berley up or move around a bit til you find the fish.

We also hooked into a school of slimy macks at OH recently, which are also gun baits for salmon and snook.

Otherwise stock up on Spanyid Raider metals and chuck them out, cast for miles and salmon love them.

Breakwall? Get the salmon/snook on bait or lures?

Both lures or bait work just as well as each other at OH, and yeah mate, off the breakwall....just watch your step.

Fish bite best there rising or falling high tide, but they like to sit on the edge out of the flow.

Get some metals like the Spanyids I mentioned above, or otherwise throw a cubed pilchard out.

Even a half or full pilly on double ganged hooks works a treat, just have to put up with the doggies...lol.
