1fish 0
I found with bright sub surface flies a bit of contrast used to work a treat always carried a black permant marker in my kit. Have a bit of a theory about red reflective eyes on flys and lures to. Still experimenting with it but jury is still out.
Mickyj 3,204
The eyes are the key to my flies .at times when I lose concentration(ok get bored from no fish ) I watch the inch long bream hit the eyes on my flies. They dont come up well in the pic but they are bright and shinny
1fish 0
Could be onto somthin theremate. Up north at night when we hit the billagongs if you hit the water with a spotty everthing in there had beady red eyes including the crocs. Certanly food for thought.
