Big Ian 0
Easter Monday I headed up to Wallaroo for the week, the fishing was somewhat ordinary I must say but the squiding from the boat was OK so that made up for it a bit ;)On Thursday evening we went out for a few hours and failed to even get a single bite, across 6 lines in the water :icon_e_surprised: and no squid either :icon_e_sad:flicked on a spotlight and the water was teeming with lice, so we pulled the lines in and headed in.I have had many a fishing trip where the sea lice are thick and the fishing always is poor.So am wondering if anybody has any info or knowledge about them? Is there a certain time of the moon phase when they are worse?Have you also noticed that the fishing seems poor when the lice are about?Cheers Ian ;D

luke_westlakes 4
I had the same problem big Ian! went out in the boat and there where so many sea lice your bait would turn into a skeleton in about 30seconds! I remeber last year the sea lice got bad around this time of the year!

kayakfisher 0
Must be a time of year thing. All the elephant sharks we caught over easter had them latched on somewhere or other.
