Try the bridges mattofisher definately some deep holes around them! also put in some hours and find yourself some mully looking waters and give it whirl you wont catch one if your line isnt in the water!

Nice one Noob! you can also use chicken stock powder in place of vegeta if you dont have any

Hi Mick i have never fished the port but Sellicks beach down south has beach launch facilities and you can get squid and whiting in very close to shore! it is suitable for a small tinny but would prob be a 40 minute drive from exeter!

I had a small esky that 2 weeks after new year i was wondering why it was in the garage with the lid shut? I made the almighty mistake of opening it while breathing and retched as there was old cockles and tube worms in water that I had forgot to empty! :S I dry retched and shut the lid! I couldn't justify throwing it out at home for the smell so I took it to work and put it in a garbage bag that was going to the wingfield dump! Then I rinsed the esky out with industrial tank cleaner it still smelled after soaking all day and I took it home and soaked it in bleach them detergent! It still smelt a bit but it's alright now and I have stored fish in it and ate them and I'm not dead yet!

I Love a good fishing story as well! Im still relatively new to fishing and like to share my experiences with like minded fisho's and watching people go from donuts to full bags in the space of a few months, with handy tips and hints from these very forums.Having said that, I don't post every trip i've been on and I don't always take photo's and i will have a look at some reports and not comment on them mostly if i am rushed for time! Then will wait a couple of days and reply! On the stance of groups i dont think that they take posts away from the forums they are just another place for people to sort of chat and share some spots they may not want the majority to know about, Which they wouldn't be sharing anyway and fair enough! Personally i dont care if people see what lure im using or where im fishing as i dont have a 'secret' spot yet and as i go fishing more i will still be putting up posts and photos! that is just my opinion.Cheers Reelin
