I went today with the missus for the first time ever and actually I didn't mind it. I guess I don't have anything to compare it too. Had fun walking around looking at the boats and dreaming about which boat I'd love to have in my shed. There wasn't much for sale really but I'm saving for an anchor winch at the moment so I didn't really want to spend anymore money than I had to. p.s - Became a member of Sea Rescue Adelaide for half price so I'm pretty happy with that.
I'm a little unsure now too as I had john winslet on my boat and without the aid of tuna oil or aniseed or pretty much anything we cleaned up. I guess when the fish are hungry they don't need much convincing.
No offence taken I quite like a bit of that talk.I have fished right next to a mate on my boat using aniseed cockles and he had plain ones and I had about 15 bites to his nothing.I have also soaked my cock les in fish oil and had great results too. :PDamage
Cool....I've learnt 2 things so far!1. Squid don't mind the smell2. don't scratch your nuts if you have deep heat on your fingers.Damage :icon_e_biggrin:
I just happend to come across the 20% offer the first day I signed up to this forum.Dropped in on the way to see some family and picked up a rod and some braid for my reel.nice one fellas!Damage
Hi guys,Recently I tried soaking some cockle meat in aniseed oil and it seemed to work quite well when getting the KGWs to bite.Has anyone else tried this? or have you got better suggestions?Damage
