  1. well im pretty much convinced to bail on the technium cos nothign good said abotu it and yeah as i said myself also, it just did my head in with knots and pretty sure it didnt everything the opposite of what i was told it would do....minimal memory(kinks etc) low stretch i think was also mentioned....the 950ss is lovely! so basic! its only for my surf outfit, so whats peoples thoughts....mono or braid? i hear alot of people say mono cos braid gets cained with sand abrasion...im easy, but i just want to be able to chuck alot of line on...im expecting big mullies :D...any suggestions?cheers guys
  2. g'day mate i own a Shimano baitrunner 4500B and its a sweet reel! however i personally wouldnt be using it for bream....This thing is my salmon rod which i use with my 12ft Daiwa Sensor Surf rod! its also what i'd be using when targeting school mulloway....As mentioned above, the Shimano Stradic 2500 would be sweet! i recently purchased one and paired up with my Berkley Drop shot 3-5kg graphite rod , i can vouch, it is sweet! i use it for flicking soft plastics and other light baits or lures,.. love it!...The baitrunner is good but if you are mainly gonna hit the onk for bream, go the light ge
  3. i havent personally stayed there but have a suss....http://www.fowlersbay.com/aboutus.htmpretty sure this ones right out the front of the jettyAMAZING fishing there...my goodness..ill be there as of january 1st...:D
  4. G'day guys tried searching on the forum and nothign came up regarding Technium....Ive got it on my Penn Spinnfisher 950ssm...cant remember what pound line tho, but anyways im wanting to know if anyone else has this and can recommend any good knots to tie it to my heavy leaders...this is my mulloway chasing reel so it is a substantial pound line. I wasnt a massive fan of how it performed when i first used it but seems a waste to bail on it without giving it a decent chance...i just struggled to get a nice and compact knot so i can wind it onto the spool....any advice would be great, Cheers in

  6. hey fellas.....im hitting the west coast of south OZ. my lure rod is a 12ft Daiwa Sensor Surf and a shimano baitrunner 4500 with 30pound line (i think)....just wondering what a good leader would be....i plan on it just being my lure and light weight casting combo....i have 60 and 80lb jinkai....but even 60 might be overkill?,,,,i do the bimini and ted donelan leader knot...the combo is very snazy!i'll appreciate a hand with the leader poundage thanks!
