Hi Brent,I fished breakout creek for carp but didn't catch a thing. I was just north of the bridge near the wooden platform. Might have to give it another go.What sort of catfish? How would you go about fishing for them?Cheers,Matt

Hi All,Just need a bit of advice regarding wind speed. When heading down the beach or Jetty what sort of wind speed would indicate its too high for a good days fishing?Been out a couple of times on the Jetty/beach and found it too windy, got myself all tangled up.Cheers,Matt

Hi David,I can't find anything saying the lake has reopened (I checked the council website).What bait would I use for the bream? Can I fish easily enough from the land? and do I just use the river rig?Sorry to bombard you with Q's!Cheers,M

Hi All,As a new fisherman I was pretty pleased with my catch of Carp on the Torrens Lake since I must have been doing something right. I was therefore a bit gutted when the lake was closed.I have a basic rod and 2 standard river rigs and a bottom feeder saltwater rig, any ideas where I could go as an alternative? what bait I should use? and what I might catch?Any catch is a good catch with me just starting out.
