  1. Finally got the trust of the old man and he will lend me his boat. Keen to try of wirrina but got no idea where to start be fantastic if someone could give me a few clues or some spots. Been searching for the ulonga wreck GPS marks but can't find it anywhere. Thanks for any help oh and what species to target this time of year

  2. Was that you in the hobie ? Saw a couple of yaks in amongst the fifty odd boats. I was in bro in laws tinny. Just be sure to follow the channel markers water gets real shallow. If you launch at Mundoo and get to the end of Mundoo channel the beacons change cause you are going upstream now instead of downstream if you know what I mean. Pretty hectic down there this time of year easy to run aground if you don't know where you going.

  3. Be aware it is a strong surf beach and can go from ankle deep to waist deep in one surge of water. Best way is with your feet do a twisting motion and feel them then reach down and grab them. Watch out for sand crabs especially if you venture out a little further

  4. Tried some surface lures for yellows this arvo on the flats at whyalla hooked one but got off. Had heaps of follows but not many ate it. Tried a small walk the dog lure found it hard to get a good walk action any help. Read somewhere that if you use a small amount of stiff mono it is easier is this the case
