1. Nice Pics. I've been told that these place are some of the best landbased fishing spots in the world. I can't .wait till next year and I'm on the road to see the west. I'm a member of fishwreaked.com witch is like strikehook for people in WA and they have been very helpfull. If your heading west check it out. B)

 2. Here are some sunset and sunrise pics over the last winter. Most are taken down at Yorks and the Port. I hope you enjoy. :cheer: [attachment:1]C:\fakepath\Fav spot Pt Adl.jpg[attachment:2]C:\fakepath\Photo0083 - Copy.jpg[attachment:3]C:\fakepath\Photo0316.jpg[attachment:4]C:\fakepath\port.jpg[attachment:5]C:\fakepath\Photo0527.jpg[attachment:6]C:\fakepath\Photo0241.jpg[attachment:7]C:\fakepath\Photo0244.jpg[attachment:8]C:\fakepath\Photo0361.jpg

 3. I have a Saltiga 12ft 20-40lb surf rod matched with a Emblem pro from tackle direct in the US. I got a fair bit of stuff from there and it was all top quality apart from the guides I got on a 12ft Emblem Pro surf rod they all had to be replaced. So check what guides come with the rod, my Saltiga I've had no problem with what so ever and it was tested with a medium sized eagle ray and handled it with ease. I personally think it's better to buy reels, line and tackle of the net, rods can be expensive to ship. Check out tackle direct not bad :cheer:

 4. I'm planning a 4wd trip to W.A. next year :woohoo: . I'm going to places like Steep Point, Reef Beach,Quobba Point, Exmouth, Bunbury,Cape le Grand and Carnarvan. I no that these place hold talior, sailfish, snapper, mullies, blue bone, macks and other big game fish. These are some of the most hard core costlines in the world ranging from 200 meter cliffs to King waves that can kill, most area's are extremely isolated. They have sites to book/invintory you need but I was wanting some first hand advice. Has anyone traveled over to WA and fished some of these area's?What are the must see over there for fishing?I'm going up the WA coast for 8 month plus so I'm planning a year in advance so I don't miss a beat. Any tips would be greatly appricated. :sh:fishing:

 5. I no that it seem's highly irregular for a big Mulley to up the Onk like that, I thought that it might be upstream to breed? Oh well thanks for the input everyone, I was hoping that someone might of herd something about it. Cheers :)

 6. It was 4 months ago @ old reynella fc. I have never seen anything like it. There was a large V on the surface and could just make out the shape of a fish it was in fairly shallow water and where the water get's very shallow a large flash and it was gone, I was spotting it with my head lamp. What do ya think

 7. A few months ago I was hunting Mullies down in the onk with my m8. Just on sunset and it was at the turn of the tide we saw something a first that seemed like a sub but it was a 2 meter Mullie. This was right up the onk. This beast slowly cruzed up stream until we couldn't follow it any more. Is it normal for mullies to be deep in the onk through winter? Is this beast a local legend, I've never seen such a big fish in gutted streams like that before. Has anyone else seen or caught it before?Cheers

 8. I was looking to buy some blades to add to my tackle box. What would be good colours for king's, snapper and mulley's around yorks and port/west lakes river? I haven't used them before but I read the artical in the wild coast about them and I'm interested in giving them a go. Cheers

 9. I was looking at some beach rods in the US and was not sure about the diffrence between Casting rods and Spinning rods. The only diffrence I could see was that the casting rods had more guides. I was looking for a beach rod for big bates and I only run spinning reels wich one would be best for me? Cheers

 10. I have ordered a Saltiga(spinner) 11ft beach rod 20-40lb line strength, 4-7oz lure weight, fast action. I only noticed after I ordered the rod that it only has 4 Fuji "New Concept" Alconite Guides will this be good to run with a emblem pro spinner? I'm going to be useing in for big game off the beach I'm hoping it will be a good rod
