  1. i got a stradic ci4 4000f on a shimano raider 5-10 kg heavy snap rod. combo feels fantastic with a 82cm snapper on hooked up im in the purpose of finding a light rod tho. 4-7 kg range i think. but the raiders are a good starting point. im looking at the tcurves atm. also got my eye on a loomis id like to buy hope my drivel helps
  2. Snaps. Shimano stradic ci4 4000 n raider 5-10 kg. In the process of getting a lighter rod. Probaly a tcurve. Everything else I usually use my daiwa Tierra 2500 n team daiwa zero 3-6 kg.

    not sure yet. prob around 150-250. we will see what i end up liking the most as i can save pretty quickly when i put my mind to it just looking for af ew ideas.

    Howdy strike hookers. I have a shimano stradic ci4 4000. Basically I use it for snapper. I have raider 5-10kg rod but I think I may use this for my baitfeeder. Who has some suggestions to what I should pair my stradic up with? Cheers Grego.

  13. after a recent windfall. aka shogun2. ive been able to put 300 bucks away for a new combo. now. i would like to use this combo for some fresh water stuff(never done any but am going to ). but also use it for salt water stuff. so thinking something in the 2-4 kg range with a 2000 reel maybe? whats everyone reckon. im looking for somethings thats a bit tough aswell. cheers lads .grego

  15. i have bought a new combo. its a 7ft 5-10 kgs shimno raider 2. and ive bought a shimano stradic c14 4000f which i have spooled with 20lb braid. now ive bought it to go sp fishing for snapper. but what i want to know what do u reckon i could use it for on top of this. as its my first decent combo and looking to use it alot :)cheers,Grego

    okaaay. so ive been doing a little looking and ive been hearing much about this dawia tierra. now ive had a lil shop on the net and ive found a lil reel called the dawia saltist. it costs about 50 bucks more then the tierra. but seems to be said to be made a bit tougher. now the thing i want to know is it a bit overkill for what im looking to do or does it look the goods. my uncle just bought a new boat. a nice 6.3 metre haines hunter. and i am looking at being aboard for a lot of voyages so its gunna get some use. pretty much what im looking for is the saltist as tough as said and worth the e
