  1. HI fellow fishers, thought i'd share this tip on sinking a burley bucket without having to resort to half bricks ect. when fishing for yfw i use one of the small 2 piece plastic burley buckets and it was allways hard too find a rock to fit properly as the burley pot is round,got sme old italian bwling balls and the fit perfectly into the round pot.Half fill pot with burley ball in on top, into freezer ready for next trip.
  2. :evil: Called them a Shanghai where i grew up in VIC,made em out cut out straps of tractor tube and used a fork branch off a wattle tree which was the best coz it dried out hard and did'nt split, ahh, memories.

  5. urhooked, yeah mate, the prices are preety much the same on the os sites and represent the strong aussie $ at the moment,I recently bought a stradic 4000fi, was going to buy from reeldeal but compleat angler at Wallaroo were having there super sale and beat os site by $1 postage included, cant see em repeating those prices but ya never know. cheers

  8. I may well be off with the pixies mmmmate but my opinion is as valid as yours, my experience with fairy wands is I would prefer an augly stix!!
  9. dont buy a berkly drop shot, they snap like tooth picks with little provocation, go an augly stix , old school i know but at least it won't break on ya.
