When I was on the Glenelg river last the local bait shop owner told me that the old salts use a small crab unweighted to reliably catch some big ol blue lips. As I havent had any luck on the SPs or HB's lately I was thinking of fossicking for some small crabs and trying for some wiley bream. Only problem is I have no idea of how to rig such a crustacean. Any advice would be tops. Also is there a minimum size on the small crabs I have seen around in the port etc?

Looking for some help on HB lures and bream. Managed to leave my tacklebox and rods in a mates car (all my softplastics) so all I had was a packet of berkley 35mm bigeye vibes I got given as a present. Took them to west lakes around 4:30 this evening and last evening to absolutely no result(1 nibble) Plenty of fish there just didnt seem interested.Anyways enough rambling, just wondering what kind of retrieve you use with vibes for breamin!
