I spoke to our diggers this morning and it is 1st nov for every 1 !Dont 4get it is a government department !!I will drop into the shop early next week for a catch up !Till then keep enjoyin !

It is official that the cockle season for rec. and commercial fishers will open on the 1st of november !

Grumpy we live in an import world !!!!Every thing from rod's and reels,terminal tackle, clothe's,TV's,food etc etc etc , i would suggest that we are all supporting imported goods in some way.It is life and supply and price is what drives it.Unless you are very rich to buy Australian products only ,then that is what makes imported products appealing.Keep Fishing and enjoy !

With the way thing are looking the imported cockle's are hear to stay.With the food market growing and the TAC of goolwa cockle's droping the day's of goolwa cockle for bait may be numbered.A small tip from people doing well with the imported cockle's is to lightly salt them to make them a little firmer.
