    Guys I would love to head down to my local jetty and catch a squid but that just isn't possible. The closest place to be that has squid is 100km away ($40 in petrol up and back). I want the Squid heads more for whiting bait than Snapper. Thanks for your help guys.

    I need a few Squid heads for bait and I was wondering how much they cost? I hope it isn't more than a couple of dollars each. Oh and I am talking about Australian squid, none of the bag squid rubbish. Cheers

    Don't forget about the good ol' Mister Twister grubs, get a pack of them in pink or clear and you should have some success. I like these plastics as they bring up more sand than using a Squidgy/Gulp etc.

    Have caught much the same as listed above but I have also caught some monster Snook when fishing for Garfish using gents. My method is to slowly bring in your float and you are a good chance for a snook or two.

    I have caught a few on 6inch Turtle Back Worms (Gulp) in Pumpkinseed. Lot's of pauses and more drags than jerks along the bottom.
