adamibinfishin 224 Posted May 11, 2011 Author Report Share Posted May 11, 2011 thanks for the kind words guys.that fish was a bonus fish while anchored in greenly harbour.we had a school follow a popper to the back of the boat,awesome sight.we thought they were seals following the popper due to the bow waves they were leaving,haha.the kings were finicky and would not take jigs or livebaits and they looked to be leaving and in desperation i grabbed my 3500 game combo with a small lazer jig.then whammo,as a guess it probably took up to an hour as a guess,couple of trips around the boat on 30lb saltiga surf braid.geez i love catching kings,cheers guys Quote Link to post Share on other sites
