TT 2
Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know Rapala have developed a new Squid Jig called the Idako Jig. This attached photo is stolen from the Rapala Australia Facebook page. They say it has SWS swing weight system meaning the weight is inside. They say more info will be released closer to launch. Will post more info if I find out. Also that rod in the picture is the Okuma X fatcor 802 light Squid Rod. 4THALOVE
__matt__ 0
Not that I think it would work much better than a normal slow sinking cloth bodied jig, but I'm surprised that with all the money that is being made off this craze at the moment no one has developed a jig that flutters on the drop like a sinking stickbait. TT 2
I certainly agree _Matt_ . I just thought when I saw it that there is some squidding fanatics especially with the new EGI techniques, on this site that may like to know!
__matt__ 0
Wait so thats what the rapala one is sposed to do? Only advantage i can see getting tech with eggying is when you really need a livey and they are hard to find (shacks at augusta for example). Other than that 50lb handline and a jig is the go
