johndeere 0
My new Okuma epix eb 60 has a dry & 'geary' feel when winding. Is this normal and if not what is the best cure?
smokeykebab 175
Lube it up. How long have you had it? I've got an epix eb80 and and avenger abf90 which feel fine but I've only used them a few times. Maybe over time the Okuma's loose their performance. Maybe remove the spool and give it a clean if there's any sand or dirt in there.
BombayDuck 0
I'd take it back to where I bought it,and try it against another "new one"
Boyington214 0
Definately take it back. Get the retailer to have a look at it. Chances are, if there is a problem, they'll swap it over then and there. Or maybe they'll send it on to a repairer. If it is out of its warranty period, then, yeah, pull it down and lube it up.
