Rickster 0
Can't tell you much about the rod only that i have heard they are the goods. But a can tell you that the reel will be everything you want of it for the job. P.S. Welcome to the site and enjoy the reading. :woohoo:

rollcast 1
FSU6144 breaks down as Fast Surf Utility 6wrap 144 inches.FSU4120 is fast surf utility 4wrap 120 inches. So 6144 is stiffer due to an extra 2 wraps of glass and longer.12 foot vs 10 ft.Down side is it is heavier.Hope this helps.cheersRollcast croozer
croozer 0
thanks for that rollcast. I have had a 4120 and 5120 for 20 odd years and love them. I was mainly wondering about the "grunt", being 2" longer, i was worried that it may be a little softer in the action. I got my blank today so i cant wait to build and use it..once again, many thanks
GDK 0
Gday mate, yeh I have one and I've added an extra 24 inches to the butt - makes for an excellent heavy sinker/bait cast rod - grabbing the bottom of the butt while casting gives it that extra grunt....Have a 950 penn attached with 30lb nylon....Great rod....
