Snappy Tom 0
Hi all, this is my first post here, i've had a look around and it seems like a pretty good forum.Anyway, I'm going to stay on Troubridge island early in march and was wondering what i might be able to catch from shore.Being a tidal island would it be best to fish at low tide so i can get closer to deeper water?Cheers Tombo
OLD SALTY 0
Hey snappy tom welcome to the site. Never fished there myself so i can't exactly help you but i would imagine being shore based would have plenty of options. I'm sure someone on here will be able to help.Enjoy! brenton 637
yeah always wanted to stay out the myself,i think its surrounded by shallow sand flats so you are probably right about getting out deeper on the low tide as for what you will catch well i'll have to wait for your report on that one.Welcome to SH cheers brentonI just had a look on Google maps, yeah its going to be a challenge on anything but bread and butter species i reckon. Snappy Tom 0
Thanks fellas,You are right Brenton, it is a very tidal island, the shoreline would move 100+ meters in some places.Might have to find me a longer rod...
