mervo55 23
After an absence of many years, I've taken up fishing again from Brighton Jetty, South Australia. As well as fishing for garfish, snapper and tommies, I also enjoy fishing for squid, being quite succesful when the water isn't murky. I've designed and constructed a squid jig which allows the presentation of three bait. I've tested it out and if floats well in the water.I also have a Facebook page entitled Brighton Jetty Fishing, Adelaide. You're welcome to have a look and participate.CheersMerv James Poppa Snake and Boyington214

Poppa Snake 1,399
welcome aboard Mervhave you tried with the jags at at different depths & lengths at the same time like when trawling for big fish?
mervo55 23
Although the float sits well in the water, no squid thusfar. This because the water is still murky after days of blowy weather. No squid caught by anyone today. I'm optimistic though since three nearby tommies/trumpeters are sure to attract them. :-)
mervo55 23
I've used those small coloured squid jags without much luck. I've been successful usingthe squid jig with the impaled tommy on it.
