Hi All. Don't be too suprised to find Barra in the Onk as I believe that for some time the old abbotoirs at Old Noarlunga was used as a breeding complex , I'm not sure if that is still the case so who knows??

Apparently every few years a bunch of dolphin fish get lost on their migratory trip due to higher than normal water temperatures and end up stranding themselves in the shallows of Pt Augusta. Thanks for the post, KingsleyI had heard previously that the old Mahi Mahi had occasionally made their way up the Spencer Gulf, but it's good to see some footage.Cheersaf

wasnt there a dolphin fish also caught our from outer or st kilda last year. mite have been in sa angler or wild coast. :whistle: wouldnt barra eat everythin if they find their way in the okn? say goodbye to bream, mullet and salmon.

Doubt it, damien...They haven't wiped out species where they exist in their natural environment - neither have they done the same thing where they've been introduced to impoundment fisheries. Mind you, new environment, new diet - who knows what may happen? :whistle: :whistle: Cheersaf
