ausea 4 Posted October 22, 2012 Report Share Posted October 22, 2012 With any type of spray it’s best to spray onto a cloth them wipe over the reel,reason is so none of it gets onto the line.The long term affect will stop the paint bubbling up.The worse area for alloy corrosion is where the line wraps around the spool.This CRC product is good to use.Here is my 38 year old reel which is cleaned off after use.I’m still using it.
