mpk200 0
Hi.my family and I are looking to have 5 nights in the yorke peninsular end of January .We all want to do some fishing and crabbing.I like the idea of staying very close to the beach or a jetty so that I can just pick the rod up and fish.Anyone got any recommendations for places to head to or even accomodation.CheersMike

Softy 2,991
I have been fishing a few times over at Yorkes and only ever caught anything decent at Edithburgh so i'd have to say... go there.
Just Me 0
Pt Rickaby is a beaut little spot too, There's a good jetty right near the caravan park, which is nothing fancy and Tommies are usually thick and of good size there this time of year as it doesn't get the fishing pressure of the more popular places, KGs and squid are around and put out a good bait and who knows what'll turn up. You can also duck over to Barkers Rocks and suss that out to for a fish off the beach or rocks.
