I love superglue for added insurance! I use it when tying light braid to leader, I use it when I make wind on leaders (like the bought ones) made with dacron and nylon, and I often use it to coat my bimini twist on my gamefishing tackle, caught all manner of fish on these setups from small rubbish to big kings/sharks and the knot/connection has never let me down. Any superglue doubters, give it a go, it doesn't perish your line, just let it dry before it gets wound onto the spool! lol.
