Tacklebags 404
Are you one of those anglers like me who fishes on a budget, hates the boring tasks of de-spooling and spooling copius amounts of braid/mono epecially on your own? Well the following isn't anything special or technical but it does make one's task easier when conducting in such activities alone and best of all its free! :cheer: De-spooling kit.Plastic outdoor chairCounter weight (broken paver in this instance)Method: Simply find a counter weight, put it on the chair and then rest your 'butt' (pardon the pun) on top of the chair with the reel resting against the back of the chair. This enables you to utilise two hands when de-spooling and speeds up the process. Refer photograph....Spooling kit.Plastic outdoor chairTexta with lid attachedCounter weight (broken paver in this instance)Method: Simply find a counter weight, put it on the chair and then slide the texta through a back slot in the chair. Put the spool of line over the texta making sure the texta lid prevents the spool from falling off the texta.Note: Pushing the texta lid against the spool so the spool touches the chair can aid in some 'eratic' tension control.Refer photograph....Anyway, that is it for this weeks dodgy tips from tacklebags.
