archerfish 685
I was up in Darwin last week and noticed this: Unfortunately, it was vandalised to some degree (old story of the minority ruining it for the majority), but it is still a serviceable fishing platform. Further information here: http://www.abc.net.au/local/audio/2013/03/22/3722000.htm Question: Could this concept work in South Australia and, if so, where? Tinker 1,645
Absolutely bring them to SA. Build them at Mawson Lakes, Wynn Vale Dam, Garden Island, West Lakes and maybe Outer Harbour. Just another reason we need RFLs in this state to fund this type of fishing infrastructure. I've seen a guy in a wheelchair fishing Largs Jetty many moons ago, said he preferred Largs coz it's shorter. We definitely need to make it easier for disabled folks to fish, close to car parks too.
