Barbecue Salt & Pepper Squid

Had some family around last night and decided to do the Good Friday fish thing. Barbecued Atlantic Salmon with Greek seasoning and also Sweet Chilli Sauce marinated Flake (as per the article in the latest "Fishing SA" magazine) went down fairly well, but the winner on the night was a Barbecue Salt & Pepper Squid recipe that I had not previously tried. If you need to find some Szechuan Peppers, most Foodland Stores stock the GFresh brand - just be sure to gently roast them before you use them to get the maximum taste.

Nice one. sounds super easy too. Hmmm got some in the freezer somewhere.


Sezchuan does have a rather unique flavour so you cant really exchange with the black stuff. Any of those Asian grocers will have it by the kg or Gaganis.
