Flies for Yellowfin

Match the hatch..... 

 

Shrimp patterns, crabs, worm all would work well on YFW...

Here are a few examples to what i mean..... 

 

If they are surface chasing then small fly poppers work well too....

That is the site I get my flies from... I havent caught any on fly yet myself but had a few follows late in the season last year. Will be hitting them hard this summer on fly though.

Troutflies is a pretty good web site in terms of selection. You can get a lot of good flies that you'll probably never use haha. However, I find their stuff sort of falls apart after a day or two fishing. Usually the beads are only hotglued with a tiny dab etc. 

 

Fisherman's Paradise has a good quality selection of salt flies. Store is on the tail end of Gouger street. Worth a look. :)

I would love to tie my own but it becomes a bit hard to get around to and such. Materials and all that are not all that cheap either. 

Whenever I'm back home I load up on flies from Cabela's or Bass Pro shop, but really that is not all that cheap either. hahaha

Consequently, I have been know to duck my head under the water and dislodge a fly or two from a log or rock jam haha.
